Scaffolding Operator / Scaffolder

Job Summary:

We are looking for a certified and safety-conscious Scaffolding Operator to build, modify, and dismantle various types of scaffolding structures (frame, tube-and-coupler, system scaffolds) at construction and industrial sites. The primary goal is to create safe, stable, and compliant working platforms for other trades.

Key Responsibilities:

Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with design plans, manufacturer specifications, and all relevant safety regulations (SG-11, SG-12, Romanian Law 319/2006).
Inspect scaffolding components for defects or damage before and after assembly.
Ensure scaffolds are level, plumb, braced, and securely tied to the structure.
Install safety features such as guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, and debris netting.
Perform daily inspections of completed scaffolds and complete checklists.
Load and unload scaffolding materials and equipment safely.
Work closely with the Foreman and other trades to plan scaffold placement and sequence.
Adhere strictly to fall protection procedures and use PPE at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Scaffolding Certification (Autorizație pentru lucrări la înălțime și montaj schele) recognized in Romania.
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding erection in industrial settings.
In-depth knowledge of scaffolding types, load capacities, and safety standards.
Ability to work at height and in physically demanding conditions.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy materials.
