Scaffolding Operator / Scaffolder
Job Summary:
We are looking for a certified and safety-conscious Scaffolding Operator to build, modify, and dismantle various types of scaffolding structures (frame, tube-and-coupler, system scaffolds) at construction and industrial sites. The primary goal is to create safe, stable, and compliant working platforms for other trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with design plans, manufacturer specifications, and all relevant safety regulations (SG-11, SG-12, Romanian Law 319/2006).
- Inspect scaffolding components for defects or damage before and after assembly.
- Ensure scaffolds are level, plumb, braced, and securely tied to the structure.
- Install safety features such as guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, and debris netting.
- Perform daily inspections of completed scaffolds and complete checklists.
- Load and unload scaffolding materials and equipment safely.
- Work closely with the Foreman and other trades to plan scaffold placement and sequence.
- Adhere strictly to fall protection procedures and use PPE at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Scaffolding Certification (Autorizație pentru lucrări la înălțime și montaj schele) recognized in Romania.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding erection in industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of scaffolding types, load capacities, and safety standards.
- Ability to work at height and in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy materials.
