Job Purpose
To provide exceptional, personalized, and efficient Food & Beverage service to our esteemed guests in the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge Assistant is responsible for creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere, ensuring all guests receive the highest standard of service in line with Crowne Plaza brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Experience:
- Warmly welcome and acknowledge all Executive Lounge guests, anticipating and fulfilling their needs promptly.
- Serve complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapés, and beverages throughout the day.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and fostering loyalty.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with efficiency and a solution-oriented approach, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the lounge's offerings, including menu items, beverages, and service hours.
Food & Beverage Operations:
- Set up the lounge for each service period (breakfast, all-day refreshments, evening cocktails), ensuring all items are displayed attractively and hygienically.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffee and tea.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lounge, back-of-house areas, and service stations at all times.
- Monitor and replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Ensure all operating equipment is handled with care and stored properly.
Administrative & Safety:
- Handle guest billing for premium beverages and services accurately.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies (HACCP) without compromise.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and minimizing wastage.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar Food & Beverage role, preferably within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment. Experience in an Executive Lounge is a significant advantage.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A certification in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage service is a plus.
- Customer Service: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Russian, Mandarin) is highly desirable.
- Grooming: Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Legal: Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
