About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Product & Pricing Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing our vehicle pricing strategies and managing the product lifecycle to maximize profitability, market share, and sales performance. You will act as the crucial link between market data, our product portfolio, and the sales team, ensuring our dealership remains competitive and forward-thinking in the fast-paced UAE automotive market.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Profitability Management:
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine pricing strategies for new and used vehicle inventory.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends.
- Analyze sales data, inventory turnover, and profitability metrics to make informed pricing decisions.
- Manage vehicle margin targets and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and inventory flow.
- Oversee and update pricing in all systems (e.g., DMS, online portals).
Product & Portfolio Analysis:
- Perform sales forecasting and demand planning for different vehicle models and trims.
- Analyze the performance of the current product portfolio, identifying strong sellers and slow-moving stock.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on inventory ordering, model mix, and feature preferences based on market trends.
- Support the sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and competitive positioning insights.
Sales Support & Stakeholder Liaison:
- Work closely with the sales team to provide them with competitive pricing tools and product information.
- Act as a key negotiator and advisor in developing pricing for fleet sales, corporate deals, and special packages.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing, product performance, and market insights for senior management.
- Train the sales team on product features, value propositions, and competitive advantages.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and business plans.
- Evaluate the potential impact of new model launches and facelifts on the existing portfolio.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Experience)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in pricing, product management, or sales/market analysis within the automotive industry (dealership or OEM level is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of vehicle pricing strategies, market analysis, and sales forecasting techniques.
- High proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis) and experience with CRM/DMS (Dealer Management Systems).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong advantage.
