Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Growth:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets for logistics services, including air/ocean freight, road transportation, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry contacts.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth.
2. Client Relationship & Portfolio Management:
- Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact and needs analysis to negotiation, closing, and account onboarding.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for your logistics portfolio, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
3. Strategic Collaboration & Solution Design:
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to design competitive, value-driven, and operationally sound logistics solutions for clients.
- Act as the "voice of the customer" internally, ensuring client requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and tenders that effectively address client challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a sales or business development role within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in winning new, profitable accounts and growing an existing client portfolio.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight (air, sea, land), warehousing, and supply chain management principles.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, financial, and analytical skills with the ability to manage P&L effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership & Collaboration: A collaborative team player with the ability to influence and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Residency: Must be currently located in the UAE and available for an interview.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: AED 13,000 – AED 15,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits Package: Includes standard benefits as per UAE law (e.g., visa, medical insurance)
