About the Role:
Al Rasef is seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Officer to join our fast-paced team. This is a critical role supporting our major road construction and infrastructure projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a strong background in the construction industry, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services for road and infrastructure projects.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct supplier evaluations.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and agreements.
- Coordinate with the project team to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in the UAE.
- Proven experience within the road construction and infrastructure sector is essential.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction materials, suppliers, and market conditions in the UAE.
