âś… Role Descriptions & Requirements
1. Position: Security Guard
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Patrol school grounds and buildings to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to students and staff.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Requirements:
- Prior experience in a security role, preferably in a school, hospital, or similar institution.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- A professional and vigilant demeanor.
2. Position: Support Staff Supervisor
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the support staff team, including cleaners and bus conductors.
- Assign duties and inspect work to ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Train new staff on school policies, safety procedures, and the proper use of equipment.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the support team, reporting issues and coordinating with school management.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in facilities, janitorial, or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage schedules, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.
- Highly organized and reliable.
3. Position: Support Staff (Cleaners / Bus Conductors)
- Key Responsibilities for Cleaners:
- Perform general cleaning duties in classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, waste disposal).
- Ensure all areas are kept sanitized, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Key Responsibilities for Bus Conductors:
- Assist students in boarding and disembarking from school buses safely.
- Maintain discipline and a safe environment on the bus.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure no child is left on the bus after the route.
- Report any behavioral or safety concerns to the driver and transportation coordinator.
- Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- For Bus Conductors: A caring and patient attitude, with a strong concern for child safety.
- For Cleaners: Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
- Good physical health and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
