Job Title: Hard Services Supervisor
Department: Facilities Management - Hard Services
Reports To: Facilities Manager
Job Purpose:
To directly supervise the technical maintenance team and contractors, ensuring the effective and safe delivery of all hard services (MEP, fabric maintenance, utilities) in accordance with planned schedules and emergency response requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of technicians and facility engineers, including daily task allocation, monitoring work quality, and providing technical guidance.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for hard services.
- Manage and coordinate specialized subcontractors for technical works.
- Respond to and manage urgent breakdowns and emergency situations.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety procedures, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Monitor inventory of critical spare parts and tools.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks on completed technical work.
- Assist the Facility Manager in developing technical budgets and plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Technical diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent trade qualification.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in building maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge across multiple hard service disciplines.
- Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills.
- Excellent understanding of HSE requirements in a technical environment.
