Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Qatar branch. You will be the backbone of our human resources operations, supporting recruitment, employee relations, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, discreet, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, CV screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the onboarding process for new hires.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (both digital and physical files) and manage HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and policy acknowledgments.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Attendance & Leave Management: Monitor attendance, track leaves (sick leave, annual leave, etc.), and maintain related records.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring HR practices comply with Qatar labor laws and company policies.
- Event & Meeting Coordination: Help organize team meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing HR reports on metrics such as recruitment, attendance, and employee turnover.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in Qatar or the GCC region.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Qatar labor laws and visa processes is a strong advantage.
- Skills:
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with HR software.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
