About the Role:
We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive spare parts or garage industry and will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all daily accounting transactions, including entries, invoices, and payments.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable & receivable processes.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Handle inventory accounting related to spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial policies.
- Utilize accounting software (Tally & QuickBooks) proficiently for all record-keeping and reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting as needed.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
- Industry Experience: Must have prior experience working in a spare parts shop, automotive garage, or related automotive trade business.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Tally ERP and QuickBooks are essential.
- Location & Availability: Must be currently located in Doha, Qatar and available for immediate joining.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
