Experience Required: 4–8 years in Heavy Engineering/Automotive/Foundry
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech, Diploma in Engineering, or BSc in Physics/Chemistry
Certifications Preferred: SBTET Diploma / ADIS / PDIS
Language Requirement: Telugu (mandatory), English (working proficiency)
Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE professional to join our dynamic team in Hindupur. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental systems within our foundry and heavy engineering operations. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and familiarity with ISO standards and local compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.
- Conduct and review various risk assessments, including:
- JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
- HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment)
- HAZOP (Hazard & Operability Study) for critical processes
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action plans.
- Plan and execute HSE trainings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for all employees and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory HSE regulations (Factories Act, EPA, etc.) and maintain necessary documentation.
- Manage GHG (Greenhouse Gas) data collection, calculation, and reporting for environmental performance tracking.
- Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
- Prepare and submit HSE performance reports, dashboards, and management review presentations.
- Promote a strong safety culture through engagement, recognition programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of foundry/automotive/heavy engineering safety practices.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 implementation and audits.
- Proficient in risk assessment methodologies (JSA/HIRA/HAZOP).
- Excellent training delivery, communication, and report-writing skills in Telugu and English.
- Familiarity with GHG accounting and environmental reporting.
- Ability to lead emergency response and crisis management.
- Proficient in MS Office and HSE documentation/software tools.
