About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multi-Unit General Manager to lead and expand our growing South Indian restaurant brand across the UAE. You will be the operational leader responsible for driving excellence across multiple branches, ensuring profitability, maintaining brand standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a pivotal leadership role for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in South Indian cuisine and multi-unit management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Unit Leadership: Oversee the daily operations, performance, and standards of multiple restaurant branches.
- P&L Management: Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss statements for all units. Drive revenue growth, control costs (food, labor, overhead), and maximize profitability.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and audit standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations, service, hygiene, safety, and inventory management specific to South Indian cuisine.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead branch managers and teams. Foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, enhance customer loyalty, and explore new opportunities for brand expansion within the UAE.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and consistency of ingredients.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to execute local store marketing and promotional activities.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with UAE's food safety, health, and municipal regulations.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 13 years of proven experience in the restaurant or QSR industry.
- Multi-Unit Management: At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in a multi-unit leadership role (Area Manager, Multi-Unit Manager, etc.).
- Cuisine Expertise: In-depth, hands-on knowledge of South Indian restaurant operations, including menu engineering, kitchen workflow, and quality benchmarks.
- Financial Acumen: Strong track record in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop large, diverse teams.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the UAE food and beverage market, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Education: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Nationality: Preference will be given to Indian nationals, with a strong affinity for candidates from Kerala who possess intrinsic understanding of the cuisine and culture.
