About the Role:
We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our establishment in Sharjah. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling front desk activities, providing administrative support, and maintaining a tidy and organized reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations (60%):
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
- Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers.
- Maintain the security and safety of the reception area by following procedures and controlling access.
- Keep the reception area, lobby, and meeting rooms clean, tidy, and presentable.
Administrative & Clerical Support (40%):
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Update calendars and maintain employee and department directories.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting rooms and simple visitor arrangements.
- Handle basic inquiries and provide accurate information to callers and visitors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma required; additional certification in Office Administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Pleasant and professional demeanor with a strong customer-service orientation.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Punctuality and a reliable work ethic.
