Position: Storekeeper
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Salary: SAR 2,200 to 2,500 + Food Allowance
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Storekeeper to join a leading company in KSA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing inventory within the construction industry and ensuring the efficient operation of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming construction materials and tools against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure materials are stored safely and are easily accessible.
- Issue materials to site teams as per authorized requisitions.
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Update and maintain the inventory management system with all transactions.
- Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the procurement and site teams regarding stock levels and material requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Commerce, or Business Administration).
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Storekeeper, specifically within the construction industry.
- Gulf Experience: Mandatory previous work experience in the Gulf region (KSA/UAE/Qatar etc.).
- Preferred: Candidates with experience on Aramco or Sabic projects will be given priority.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Inventory Management Systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
