Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of accounting experience and strong knowledge of accounting standards and accounting software. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Transactions & Bookkeeping
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Monitor cash flow and bank balances
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting
- Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and company policies
- Assist in VAT preparation, filing, and reconciliation
- Support external auditors by preparing required documentation
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures
Software & System Management
- Operate and maintain accounting software efficiently
- Ensure proper data entry and system accuracy
- Generate financial reports from accounting systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting principles
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
