We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage and oversee the company’s document control system. The ideal candidate will ensure all documentation is accurate, properly maintained, and effectively distributed in compliance with company and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the document control system and database
- Register, track, and control all incoming and outgoing documents and correspondence
- Ensure proper document numbering, filing, classification, and archiving
- Review documents for completeness and perform quality checks before submission
- Prepare document transmittals and ensure accurate distribution to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain electronic document records and conduct regular system backups
- Follow up on pending documents and coordinate with internal departments and project teams
- Ensure compliance with company standards and project document control procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Project Management preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in document control within a technical environment
- Experience working within a Project Management department
- Proven experience handling documentation for large-scale infrastructure and mega projects
- Strong knowledge of document control systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Strong communication and coordination skills
