🏨 Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Engineer with a strong background in hotel operations. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in hotel engineering and excellent English communication skills. The Chief Engineer will oversee all technical operations, maintenance, and safety systems within the property to ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Facilities Maintenance
- Oversee daily maintenance operations of the hotel building and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure all equipment and infrastructure are in excellent working condition.
2️⃣ Electrical Systems
- Supervise maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Manage backup power systems and generators.
3️⃣ Plumbing Systems
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of water supply and drainage systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, pipes, and sanitation systems.
4️⃣ HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- Monitor and maintain HVAC systems for optimal performance.
- Ensure guest comfort and energy efficiency.
- Handle troubleshooting and system upgrades when required.
5️⃣ Boilers and Burners
- Supervise maintenance and safe operation of boilers and burner systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
6️⃣ Swimming Pool Systems
- Oversee pool filtration, heating, and chemical treatment systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
7️⃣ Elevators (Lifts)
- Coordinate inspection, maintenance, and certification of lifts.
- Ensure guest safety and regulatory compliance.
8️⃣ Fire Protection & Safety Systems
- Maintain fire alarm systems, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
- Ensure full compliance with local fire safety regulations.
👥 Leadership & Management Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the engineering and maintenance team.
- Coordinate with other departments for maintenance scheduling.
- Control maintenance budgets and inventory of spare parts.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
✅ Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in a hotel.
- Strong technical knowledge in MEP systems.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
