Ø Heavy Machinery Mechanic:
Role: As a heavy machinery Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy-duty construction and industrial equipment such as caterpillars, bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks,s etc. Your role ensures that machinery remains safe, reliable, and fully operational, minimizing downtime and supporting the smooth running of operations on construction sites or industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
Ø Inspect, diagno,se and repair heavy machinery such as caterpillars, bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks, and other construction or industrial equipment.t
Ø Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, electrical systems, ms, and cooling systems
Ø Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify mechanical or electrical faults.
Ø Replace worn parts, perform overhauls,s and ensure safe equipment operation.on
Ø Maintain service records, logs, OGS, and reports of work done and parts used
Ø Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment
Ø Coordinate with Supervisors, Operators, and other team members to ensure machinery is available and operational
Ø Respond to emergency breakdowns and conduct on-site repairs if necessary
Ø Keep the workshop organized and tools in good condition
Skills-Qualifications/ Requirements:
Ø Knowledge ofthe English language
Ø Technical diploma or certification in mechanics, automotive engineering, or heavy machinery maintenance
Ø Proven experience working with heavy construction or industrial equipment
Ø strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
Ø ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams,s and schematics
Ø familiarity with diagnostic software or computerized systems (preferred)
Ø Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy components and tools
Ø Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Ø Team-oriented, responsible, le and safety – conscious
Ø Valid driving license
Ø To, old knowledge, edge, and hands-on repair skills
