Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Network & Sales Engineer who has strong technical expertise in networking and is also willing to support sales activities when IT workload is low. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, customer-focused, and comfortable working in both technical and business-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical / Networking Responsibilities:
*Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
*Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
*Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
*Provide on-site and remote technical support for network-related issues
*Implement network security best practices and policies
*Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
*Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for technical support and escalations
Sales & Pre-Sales Responsibilities
*Support the sales team with technical inputs, solution design, and proposals
*Attend customer meetings to understand requirements and recommend suitable IT/network solutions
*Assist in product demonstrations, POCs, and solution presentations
*Actively engage in sales activities such as lead follow-ups and customer outreach during low IT workload periods
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
*4–6+ years of experience in networking and IT infrastructure
*Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, firewall configurations, and VPNs
*Hands-on experience with networking and security devices (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, etc.)
*Good understanding of IT solutions, pricing models, and customer requirements
*Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
*Willingness to support sales activities as needed
Preferred / Added Advantages:
*Experience in IT system integrator or MSP environment
*Pre-sales or customer-facing experience
*Networking or security certifications (CCNP, Fortinet NSE, etc.)
*Basic understanding of cloud and managed IT services
