🔹 Role Overview
The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, audit coordination, and strategic financial analysis. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide actionable financial insights to management.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of general ledger and accounting records.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely closing of books and financial reporting.
2️⃣ Compliance & Regulatory Matters
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS standards where applicable.
3️⃣ Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and conduct variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
4️⃣ Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor company cash flow and liquidity position.
- Manage banking relationships and financial transactions.
- Oversee payment schedules and working capital management.
5️⃣ Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Strengthen internal control systems and financial procedures.
- Identify areas for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Support management with strategic financial analysis and reporting.
🔹 Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and UAE VAT regulations.
- Experience in financial reporting, audits, and compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
