The Coop House Restaurant is expanding, and we are excited to welcome a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our growing team.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. You will play a key role in ensuring that service runs smoothly, guests receive exceptional hospitality, and the team operates efficiently and professionally.

You will also help lead, coach, and motivate staff while ensuring operational standards, cleanliness, and service excellence are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to maintain high service standards.
Supervise service during peak hours to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and service quality.
Ensure the restaurant maintains high cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Assist with staff scheduling, shift management, and team coordination.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and communication between front and back of house.
Support inventory management, stock control, and ordering processes.
Ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are followed consistently.
Contribute ideas to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

✔️ Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar leadership role in upscale casual dining.

✔️ Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest relations.

✔️ Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

✔️ Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining high service quality.

✔️ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.

✔️ Positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality.

✔️ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
