We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join a dynamic and growing organization in Dubai
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
-Review and reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting schedules
-Ensure VAT input/output accuracy and timely VAT return filing
-Handle UAE Corporate Tax compliance and filings
-Prepare consolidated financial statements and cash flow reports
-Verify financial entries within SAGE, MS Dynamics, and Microsys
-Support and guide the finance team to ensure timely closure of accounts
-Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements across finance operations
-Assist the Finance Director with financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
-CA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
-Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within the GCC
-Strong experience in financial reporting, month-end & year-end closing
-Hands-on experience with VAT and UAE Corporate Tax compliance
-Proficiency in MS Dynamics, SAGE, and advanced Microsoft Excel
-Strong leadership and team management skills
-Excellent English communication skills (Urdu, Hindi, or Malayalam is a plus)
