Overview
A Mechanical Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating mechanical installation and maintenance activities at project sites. They supervise technicians and workers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mechanical site activities and workforce
- Ensure installation work is carried out as per drawings and specifications
- Assign tasks to technicians and monitor job progress
- Inspect ongoing and completed work for quality assurance
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and project managers
- Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and equipment
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues
- Maintain daily work reports and progress updates
- Enforce safety rules and conduct toolbox talks
- Support testing, commissioning, and system handover
Systems Typically Handled
- HVAC systems (ducting, piping, equipment installation)
- Plumbing and piping systems
- Firefighting systems
- Mechanical equipment installation and maintenance

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation methods

Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience as Mechanical Technician or Site Assistant
- Site supervision experience preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or firefighting systems
- Safety training certification (beneficial)
