Project Engineer (Mechanical) – Job Description
Overview
A Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and managing mechanical engineering projects. They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical projects from start to finish
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents
- Manage installation of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and equipment
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports
- Monitor site activities and ensure quality workmanship
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering solutions
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of systems

Qualifications

- Project management certification (optional but beneficial)
