Plumbing Supervisor – Job Description
Overview
A Plumbing Supervisor oversees plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work on-site. They manage teams of plumbers, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintain compliance with plumbing codes and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily plumbing activities at construction or maintenance sites
- Assign tasks and guide plumbers and technicians
- Plan and coordinate installation of piping, drainage, and water systems
- Inspect plumbing work to ensure quality and compliance with standards
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings and layouts
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
- Identify and resolve complex plumbing issues
- Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation
- Enforce safety procedures and conduct toolbox talks
Systems Typically Managed
- Water supply and distribution systems
- Drainage and sewage systems
- Hot and cold water systems
- Pumps and piping networks
- Sanitary fixtures and installations

Qualifications
