A AC Technician (Air Conditioning Technician) is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role ensures proper cooling performance, energy efficiency, and system safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install split AC, window AC, central AC, and HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning filters, coils, and ducts
- Diagnose and repair faults in cooling systems and electrical components
- Check refrigerant levels and perform gas charging when required
- Inspect compressors, thermostats, motors, and wiring systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards
- Respond to service calls and provide timely repairs

- Follow safety procedures while handling tools and refrigerants
