Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming café experience. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea, etc.) to company standards
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Take customer orders accurately and handle payments
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and seating area
- Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, cups, and syrups
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Training or certification in coffee making or hospitality
- Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Latte art skills
