Job Title: Runner / Food Runner
Job Summary
The Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to guests promptly and accurately. This role supports the restaurant service team by ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen, bar, and dining areas while maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages to guests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify orders before serving to ensure accuracy and presentation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Ensure guests receive the correct orders and respond to basic service requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
- Communicate any guest concerns or special requests to servers or supervisors.
- Support opening and closing duties, including setup and cleaning tasks.
- Assist with replenishing service supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company service standards at all times.
