Position Title: Sales Executive – Building Material Trading
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive – Building Material Trading is responsible for promoting and selling construction and building materials to contractors, construction companies, developers, consultants, and retail customers. The role involves generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building materials market.
- Promote and sell building materials such as cement, steel, blocks, aggregates, tiles, sanitary ware, insulation materials, hardware, and related products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and project owners.
- Conduct regular client visits and site inspections to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and product specifications to customers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts within company guidelines.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and sales orders to secure business opportunities.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
- Resolve customer concerns and provide after-sales support to ensure satisfaction.
- Participate in industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking activities when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in building materials trading, construction sales, or industrial sales.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, products, and market practices.
- Valid driving license (preferred for field sales roles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
