Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection, achieving sales targets, and supporting daily store operations. The role focuses on creating a positive shopping experience, maintaining store standards, and contributing to overall retail sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Provide accurate product information, features, and benefits to customers.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Maintain product displays and ensure proper visual merchandising standards.
- Assist with stock replenishment, product arrangement, and inventory checks.
- Ensure shelves, racks, and displays are clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Support promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and new product launches.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing stock areas.
- Maintain awareness of current products, promotions, and company policies.
- Follow store procedures related to cash handling, safety, and customer service.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in Business, Retail, or a related field is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in fashion, mother & baby, kids, lifestyle, or specialty retail is an advantage.
- Fresh candidates with strong communication skills may be considered.
