Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to support procurement activities for construction and project requirements, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently and delivered according to project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement activities for project materials and equipment.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
- Request and compare supplier quotations.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Follow up on purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
- Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
- Monitor market prices and identify suitable purchasing opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Relevant procurement experience in construction or engineering projects is preferred.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
