Helper
Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Helper to support technicians, supervisors, and other site personnel with daily work activities. The Helper will assist with material handling, tools and equipment, site preparation, housekeeping, and other assigned tasks while following safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians, supervisors, and skilled workers with daily site activities.
- Load, unload, carry, and arrange materials, tools, and equipment as instructed.
- Prepare work areas and ensure materials and tools are readily available.
- Assist skilled workers during installation, maintenance, repair, and construction activities.
- Handle tools and equipment safely under supervision.
- Assist with moving and positioning materials, equipment, and components.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the work site.
- Collect and dispose of waste materials according to site procedures.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Support workers during lifting, positioning, and installation activities.
- Assist in preparing and cleaning tools and equipment before and after work.
- Report damaged tools, unsafe conditions, material shortages, or other issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all company health and safety rules and site procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
- Support emergency, maintenance, and other site activities as directed.
- Perform other general duties assigned by the Supervisor or Site Manager.
Requirements
- Basic education or relevant practical experience preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; freshers may be considered.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in a site environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic awareness of workplace safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to handle basic tools and materials safely.
