Job Summary
Teef Najd Group is looking for a Safety Officer to monitor workplace safety and help maintain a safe working environment across project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections at project sites.
- Identify unsafe acts and hazardous conditions.
- Ensure employees and workers follow safety procedures.
- Monitor proper use of PPE.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, checklists, and reports.
- Monitor compliance with site safety requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors and project management regarding safety issues.
- Support emergency and evacuation procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous safety experience in construction or project environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic HSE and workplace safety practices.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work in a construction/project environment.
- Relevant safety certifications are an advantage.
