Job Summary
The HSE Officer will support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures across project sites and help ensure compliance with company and project HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental practices at project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure workers follow approved safety procedures.
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks.
- Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety documentation.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support emergency preparedness and response procedures.
- Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project teams to improve workplace safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant HSE experience in construction/projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulations.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work effectively at construction/project sites.
- Relevant HSE certifications will be an advantage.
