Job Summary
Veesham Printing Press LLC is looking for an experienced Estimator to join its team in Dubai. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately calculating costs and preparing competitive quotations for printing projects while coordinating with sales, production, suppliers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates for printing jobs.
- Calculate material, labor, production, and overhead costs.
- Prepare competitive quotations based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, production teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing.
- Review printing specifications, quantities, materials, finishing requirements, and production capabilities.
- Maintain records of estimates, quotations, pricing history, and revisions.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations where required.
- Ensure estimates are accurate, timely, and commercially viable.
- Monitor industry trends, material costs, and competitor pricing.
- Support the sales team with pricing and technical information.
- Ensure all estimates meet client requirements and production capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification.
- 2–3 years of experience in estimating, preferably within the printing or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and finishing techniques is preferred.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with estimating or quotation software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with graphic design software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
