Job Summary
Veesham Printing Press LLC is urgently seeking an experienced Assistant Production Supervisor to support the Production Supervisor in managing daily printing and packaging operations. The successful candidate will oversee production planning, quality control, workforce coordination, and timely job completion across both offset and digital printing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily offset and digital printing and packaging operations.
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of 50+ production employees.
- Monitor production output, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct quality checks and implement measures to minimize defects and production rejections.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Pre-Press, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues and support timely resolution.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure proper operation and maintenance.
- Ensure jobs are completed according to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Manage manpower allocation and production resources effectively.
- Maintain production records, reports, and workflow documentation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company production standards.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in the printing and packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of offset and digital printing processes.
- Experience in production planning, workflow management, and quality control.
- Good machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience supervising production teams is preferred.
- Ability to manage and coordinate a workforce of 50+ employees.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Male candidates preferred.
