Position Summary
The Senior HR Operations Manager will be a strategic leader responsible for the entire spectrum of HR operations. This role demands a proactive individual who can ensure the efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement of all HR processes, systems, and services. You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership and a champion for our employees, shaping an outstanding workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR operational strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights for strategic decision-making and process improvements.
- Lead and manage the HR operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development.
HR Operations & Process Management:
- Oversee and streamline all core HR processes, including the employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding), payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
- Ensure absolute accuracy and timeliness of monthly payroll in collaboration with the finance department.
- Manage the administration of employee benefits, including medical insurance, and serve as the primary point of contact for providers.
Compliance & Policy Development:
- Ensure all HR practices and policies are fully compliant with UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all government relations matters related to HR (e.g., MOHRE, immigration).
Employee Relations & Support:
- Serve as a key point of escalation for complex employee relations issues, providing expert counsel and resolution.
- Promote a positive work environment and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
System & Technology:
- Oversee the HR Information System (HRIS), leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a managerial role, specifically within the UAE.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English is mandatory (both written and spoken).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.
- Legal Knowledge: In-depth, proven knowledge of UAE Labor Law and its practical application.
