Mission:
To capture and produce stunning, high-quality visual content that tells the brand’s story, showcases its products (food/drink/ambiance), and evokes emotion that drives engagement and sales across all marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Production:
- Plan, shoot, and edit photography and videography for a wide range of needs: social media, websites, menus, advertising, email campaigns, and internal communications.
- Content includes: plated food and beverage shots, behind-the-scenes footage, team portraits, event coverage, atmospheric/establishment shots, and short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Ensure all visuals adhere to the brand’s established style guide and aesthetic.
Pre-Production & Art Direction:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist and culinary team to develop creative concepts and shot lists.
- Source props, manage styling for food and product shots, and coordinate with subjects (staff, guests, talent).
- Scout and manage locations, lighting setups, and audio recording.
Post-Production & Asset Management:
- Edit photos and videos using professional software (Adobe Creative Suite: Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects; Final Cut Pro).
- Color correct, grade, and add graphics/motion elements as needed.
- Organize, archive, and maintain a well-structured digital asset library for easy access by the marketing team.
- Deliver final assets in optimized formats for various platforms (web, social, print).
Technical & Equipment Management:
- Operate and maintain professional-grade equipment (DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, gimbals, drones if certified).
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and new technology.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in food, lifestyle, and commercial photography/videography.
- Proficiency with professional camera systems, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or equivalent editing software.
- Keen eye for composition, detail, color, and storytelling.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, often during off-peak restaurant hours.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated and able to manage projects from concept to delivery.
