Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Abu Dhabi

Job Overview:
A Registered Nurse provides and coordinates direct patient care in accordance with established policies, protocols, and professional standards. The RN assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. They administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and health histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous infusions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Operate and monitor sophisticated medical equipment (e.g., cardiac monitors, ventilators).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and legal records of nursing care.
- Adhere to strict infection control, health, and safety protocols (DHA/DoH/HAAD standards).
- Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority), DoH (Department of Health - Abu Dhabi), or HAAD license as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and often ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is a significant advantage).
- Strong clinical judgment, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
