Front Desk Receptionist
Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for the clinic, responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient patient experience. This role handles patient registration, scheduling, and general inquiries, ensuring smooth front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Greeting & Registration: Warmly greet patients and visitors. Accurately collect and enter patient demographic and insurance information into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the physician’s appointment book, schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments via phone, email, or in-person.
- Communication Hub: Answer incoming calls, respond to general email inquiries, and direct calls/messages to appropriate personnel.
- Administrative Support: Prepare patient charts for the day, manage patient check-in/check-out processes, and handle patient correspondence.
- Clinic Coordination: Maintain the reception area’s tidiness. Coordinate with nursing and medical staff regarding patient arrivals and schedule changes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma required; diploma in Office Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting in the UAE.
- Proficiency in clinic management software/EMR and MS Office.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
