Resident Engineer
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:
To act as the on-site representative, ensuring that construction works are executed strictly in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards. The Resident Engineer is responsible for day-to-day site supervision, coordinating between the client and contractor, and resolving technical issues to ensure project milestones are achieved .
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities for water treatment plants, pumping stations, and network installations, ensuring full compliance with contract documents and approved shop drawings .
- Quality & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor work quality, materials, and safety regulations. Review and approve contractor submittals, material approvals, and method statements .
- Coordination: Facilitate smooth project execution by coordinating with the contractor, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client's team. Lead weekly site progress meetings .
- Technical Resolution: Provide timely resolution to technical issues and engineering queries (RFIs) that arise during construction. Review and recommend approval of design changes and non-conformance reports .
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily site records, inspection reports, and progress documentation. Prepare detailed monthly reports on site activities and progress .
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering .
- Experience: Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in construction supervision of water/wastewater projects, with a proven track record in a Resident Engineer or similar senior site role .
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes, pipeline construction, and civil works. Knowledge of AutoCAD is beneficial .
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach .
