Senior Civil Engineer
Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer (Water & Wastewater Infrastructure)

Project Type: Design & Build / EPC for Water Transmission Lines, Pumping Stations, and Treatment Plants.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the civil design and construction supervision for large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reinforced concrete structures (RCC), earthworks, and utility routing specific to the GCC region. You will be responsible for ensuring that all civil works comply with international standards, local bylaws, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead the civil engineering discipline, reviewing designs for intake structures, outfalls, settlement tanks, pump station buildings, and underground reservoirs.
- Design Management: Oversee the preparation and approval of detailed design drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Ensure coordination with structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
- Site Supervision: Monitor site progress to ensure that civil works (piling, concreting, backfilling, and road restoration) are executed according to approved method statements, IFC drawings, and project specifications.
- Coordination: Interface with the project manager, procurement team, and other discipline leads (Mechanical, Electrical, Process) to resolve technical clashes and ensure timely delivery of civil packages.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all concrete mixes, steel reinforcement, and soil compaction tests meet project specifications. Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards during excavation and construction.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with the Client (e.g., Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), National Water Company (NWC), or Municipalities) and sub-contractors for technical approvals and inspections.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: Professional accreditation (PE, CEng, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 12-15 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role on water/wastewater infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigations and dewatering techniques.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, report writing, and client-facing communication skills.
