Job Title: Land / Site Surveyor
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Project Type: Water & Wastewater Infrastructure
Job Purpose:
To perform all land surveying activities for the project, ensuring accurate setting out of works and verification of contractor's surveys. This includes establishing control networks, topographic surveys, and producing as-built records to guarantee the project is constructed in the correct location and to the design levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Control: Establish, maintain, and verify primary and secondary survey control networks (horizontal and vertical benchmarks) for the project.
- Setting Out: Precisely set out the alignment and levels for pipelines, manholes, pumping stations, and other infrastructure elements, providing clear reference points for the construction crew.
- Verification & Check Surveys: Independently check the contractor's setting out and completed works to ensure compliance with design drawings and specified tolerances.
- Data Collection: Conduct topographic and detail surveys to record existing conditions or capture as-built data. Operate and maintain survey instruments (Total Station, GPS, Automatic Level, Drone/UAV if applicable).
- As-Built Surveys: Perform final as-built surveys of all constructed assets and prepare survey data and drawings for inclusion in the final handover documentation.
- Reporting: Prepare daily survey reports, record all survey data, and coordinate findings with the engineering and construction teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in land surveying on large-scale infrastructure projects in KSA.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining modern survey equipment (Trimble, Leica, or Topcon).
- Software skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing software.
