The Project Manager – District Cooling will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of district cooling projects, from initiation and planning through execution, commissioning, and final handover. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in chilled water systems, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment.
- Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee engineering design reviews related to chilled water networks, energy transfer stations (ETS), and plant rooms.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure procurement schedules align with project timelines.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Enforce strict compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.
- Lead progress meetings and provide status reports to senior management.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and performance validation of district cooling systems.
- Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and variations are properly documented.
- Manage subcontractor performance and resolve technical conflicts.
- Ensure successful project handover with complete documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships to support future business opportunities.
