The Estimation & Production Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and overseeing production planning within the steel fabrication division.
- Review tender documents, structural drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare detailed material take-offs and cost breakdowns.
- Estimate labor, material, and equipment costs accurately.
- Coordinate with procurement for pricing and supplier quotations.
- Develop production schedules aligned with project deadlines.
- Monitor workshop productivity and workflow efficiency.
- Optimize material utilization and reduce fabrication waste.
- Track fabrication progress and report delays.
- Ensure production quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with site teams for delivery planning.
- Support value engineering initiatives.
- Maintain accurate cost records for future reference.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients when required.
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
✔ Relevant experience in the same field
✔ GCC experience preferred
