The Logistic Officer will manage imports, shipping coordination, customs clearance, and transportation of materials required for industrial and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Import & Customs Handling
- Manage import documentation and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs rules and import regulations.
- Handle bill of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and related documents.
Transportation & Delivery
- Arrange local transportation and delivery schedules.
- Monitor shipment timelines and resolve delays.
- Coordinate with project teams for delivery requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logistics records and shipment reports.
- Track logistics costs and ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure timely submission of documentation to finance for payments.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- 3–5 years of procurement/logistics experience in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of UAE customs and import procedures is mandatory.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience in water projects is a plus.
