Detailed Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation
- Operate perfect binding machines including glue application systems
- Adjust spine milling, glue temperature, and cover alignment
- Ensure accurate cover placement and pressure control
- Monitor trimming knives for precise finishing
Product Collection & Inspection
- Collect finished books from delivery systems
- Stack and organize products carefully to prevent damage
- Inspect for binding defects, glue overflow, or misalignment
- Remove defective copies from production batches
Workflow Coordination
- Maintain smooth transition between binding and packaging departments
- Monitor production speed and adjust according to workflow
- Communicate machine issues to supervisors immediately
Equipment Care
- Clean glue tanks and rollers regularly
- Ensure proper adhesive levels and temperature consistency
- Replace worn cutting blades when necessary
Safety & Efficiency
