🧾 Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of storage tank projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fabrication and erection activities, along with strong technical and coordination skills.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
1. Project Engineering & Execution
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing storage tank projects (API 650 / API 620 / API 653)
- Prepare and review technical drawings, material take-offs, and design documents
- Support fabrication and erection activities in line with project specifications and standards
- Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and update the Project Manager
2. Technical & Site Support
- Conduct site inspections, measurements, and quality checks during construction
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, QA/QC procedures, and project requirements
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical queries
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports
- Develop method statements and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
- Assist in compiling complete project documentation, including as-built drawings and handover files
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in tank fabrication/erection or similar construction projects
- Knowledge of API 650, API 653, ASME, and ASTM standards is preferred
✨ Key Skills
- Strong understanding of fabrication drawings and welding processes
- Good knowledge of site safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with AutoCAD is an added advantage
- Strong coordination and communication skills
