Job Summary
The Foreman/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site or within a department, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and according to company standards. This role involves supervising workers, coordinating tasks, and maintaining productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers or team members.
- Plan daily work schedules and assign tasks based on priorities.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Train, mentor, and guide workers to improve performance.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and work areas regularly.
- Communicate progress, issues, and updates to management.
- Resolve on-site problems and handle conflicts among workers.
- Maintain records of work progress, attendance, and materials used.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
- Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific processes (e.g., construction, manufacturing).
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Physical fitness (if the role involves on-site/manual work).
