Job Title: Logistic Officer
Job Summary:
The Logistic Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and goods. The role ensures timely delivery, efficient inventory control, and smooth supply chain operations to support business or project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials and goods.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain inventory records and track stock movement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, transporters, and internal departments.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials in warehouses or sites.
- Prepare logistics reports, delivery notes, and related documentation.
- Monitor supply chain efficiency and resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Optimize transportation costs and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Support procurement and store departments with logistics coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations (freshers may apply in some cases).
- Basic knowledge of inventory and transportation systems.
